Courses and Training

Want to try scuba diving

Are you already certified and need a refresher?

Are you already certified and want to learn more?

Do you want to get better at diving, be more confident, try something new?

This is your chance to do something new!  Whatever your reasons for getting to this page, you have already started your exploration into diving.  We’re excited to have you step N2theBlue!  Even more exciting – you get to dive in what has been rated on the top 5 places to dive for best dive destination, best beginner diving, best underwater photography, and many other bests!

We train, give experiences, and certify scuba using The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) courses and training.  PADI is the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through PADI.

Advantages of getting certified at N2theBlue?

  • You can start learning online today with or with a book when you get here.

  • Most scuba shops in at home require you buy your own mask, fins, and snorkel.  We have them here for you during class, FREE.

  • The water here is warm! ~80-86'F year round!

How does it work?

If its your 1st time, you have two choices:

1)  Try Diving (Discover Scuba Diving):  Reserve your spot and plan on 3 hours of fun (includes training and nearly an hour dive!) with the hands on attention from a PADI Instructor.  You start with a 20 minute video that will show you what you’re about to learn & do.  After the video we’ll go through a basic flip-cart, get sized and introduced to your gear, given a quick briefing, then get into chest deep water to practice a few skills.  After successfully practicing a few skills in chest deep water, we’ll slowly go explore the old pier or a nearby beach with all its cool corals, sponges, and wildlife.  There’s even an underwater checkers board at the old pier (with hockey pucks for pieces!).  Your instructor or Divemaster will be right there with you at your side.

2)  PADI Open Water Certification:  A full scuba certification take about 2-3 days.  You can get a LOT of it done at home before you even get here.  Either do online PADI Open Water Diver with before you jump in the water or study with PADI's paper book when you get here.  If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Age: 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

If you are already certified and need a refresher course, we can get you back into the sport.  If you've been out of the water for over a year, we strongly recommend the PADI Scuba Tune-up course.  You can start online with PADI Scuba Tune-up , then meet with your instructor or Divemaster to get your in the water.  It will make you that much more confident and responsible diver for both you and your dive buddy.

If you are already certified and would like to learn more, we can get you more skills and achievements towards your Master Scuba Diver card.
